As Island Explorer ISLET members, youth from Marshall Islands High School traveled to Jaluit to gather stories from community members, visit significant places, and learn how to make the community’s reknowned product (One Island One Product). Youth then compiled their data into a poster. The Jaluit poster features a map of the atoll, a list of historical places in Jaluit with accompanying photos, and the process of making ametama.
