The Kosrae Island Observer ISLET wanted to raise awareness of endangered species in Kosrae to encourage community members to learn about these species and ways to protect them. To raise awareness, the ISLET created a large billboard featuring 8 endangered species in Kosrae. It’s now posted in Lelu village, where locals and visitors alike can see it en route to the airport (2019).
